Shade didn't have time to respond before she was running as fast as her legs could carry her to catch up with the boy. "Ha! Warning you now, I'm pretty fast." She smirked at him. Though she didn't know the way to his house, so she would have to make sure not to get too far ahead, if she did get ahead at all. She noticed that it was just a dirt path, nothing to bad. She sent him a teasing glare/smirk from beneath her long, dark eyelashes, her emerald eyes glittering underneath. Oh, he's in for it now She thought to herself as she continued in the sprint.

((Should she win? Or him? Or shall it be a tie where the argument lasts... FOREVAH!? xDD))
Kyo laughed over his shoulder. But she was pretty much caught up, right at his heels. "Yeah, whatever. You're still a girl," he jeered. He was only pretending to be a jerk. He wasn't sexist or anything. Though, he'd never get into a physical fight with a girl. Hmm... sometimes Kyo could be a gentleman in his own way. He sped up his sprint, but wasn't sure if he could go much faster than now. He would so win this race. Definitely.

((I don't care. XD Whomevah you want to win. XD Or tie. LoL.))
"You said it yourself, I'm tougher then your average girl." Shade reminded him with a smirk. She pushed herself to go harder. Faster. Stronger. She had to beat him. Partitally so that she could gloat in his face. Not for long, of course, though, and always playfully.
So the girl pushed herself onwards, trying to beat the fast, orange haired opponent in the race. She vaguely wondered how far away the house was. But she didn't let that bother her for too long. It really didn't matter.

"How do you know I wasn't just being nice to you?" Kyo asked her. He attempted at pushing himself harder. He was starting to get tired though. Of course, he ignored that. He jogged for an hour every morning anyway.
It wasn't too long before they reached the large house. They both reached the house at about the same time. It would be impossible to say who had won.
"I beat you!" he told her, convinced he'd won. Oh, if he'd lost to a girl...

Shade's breathing had gotten a bit heavy, she lifted an eyebrow. "Oh really?" She said, standing up strait and putting her hands on her hips. "I was a good two feet ahead of you, I think." She said to him. ((::death:

"That's a lie! I won! I beat you!" Kyo snapped back, opening the door and heading inside. He was huffing fairly heavily. After Shade had entered with him, he slammed the door shut, and it nearly bounced off of its slider. But, luckily, it remained intact.
((Blah.))

Shade brushed some of the thick black hair out of her eyes. "Whatever. I so won." She told him, following him in. Shade would have laughed if the door fell off the slider, though something told her with how wobbly it was, it's been knocked off before. Shade, liking any machine, a simple machine or a big one with wires- her favorites were the ones that went vroom- suddenly had the desire to fix it, but she had no tools here, plus Kyo could fix it on his own if he really wanted to, she figured.
"Your house is big..." Shade commented, gazing around with her peridot colored eyes, the unrealistic orbs of green taking in everything as she swept over the room with her eyes.

Kyo rolled his eyes at Shade. He knew he won. It was obvious. She was just a sore loser, he told himself.
"Yeah, whatever," he said when Shade told him the house was big. He headed up the stairs, not even calling out, 'I'm home!'. Though, that's not something he EVER did, anyway. He walked down the hall, knowing that Shade was probably right behind him. Then he got to his room. They'd had to clean up quite a bit, for him to actually have a room to sleep in. It was fairly clean, aside from the clothes strewn across the floor.

Shade followed him up, untangling her long hair from the run by running her fingers through it. It was relatively easy and done in a couple seconds.
His room was like the average guy's room, though a bit neater. Living with a couple other males, she would know. Not the tidiest creatures in the world. She managed to keep the house semi-clean with a little help from her mother when she was feeling well. "Do you live with any one else here?" She asked. She would be pretty lonely if she lived here only with a parent or two. Her house was kinda infamous for always adopted a cousin or two to live with them. Her mother always had room for guests. She loved guests. Shade sometimes felt like her house had turned into a bed breakfast. Which annoyed her. But she would get over it.
But maybe Kyo was still lonely if even if he lived her with a million different people. Just because you live with people doesn't mean that you aren't lonely. Shade had also felt this feeling before, ussually after being beaten by that horrid man that didn't seem to want to leave. He was cruel to everyone. Even Kira, which filled Shade with an undescribable wrath.
But onto lighter subjects, Shade gazed now around Kyo's room. It was pretty good sized, with a big window. Light shone from the outside into the room at the moment. The light came in shades of gold that was a product of the sunny but slightly chilly fall afternoon.

Kyo nodded when she asked the question. "Yeah. Yuki, and our older cousin Shigure. And Tohru," he told her, watching her take in the room. He kept it clean mainly because he never really made it dirty anyway. He had possessions, but he never really used them unless they were clothes. So... the room was clean, especially compared to Yuki's.
((It was TERRIBLE! I apologize. DX))

((XDD))
Tohru... Tohru... that named sounded familar. "Tohru Honda?" Shade asked. "Is she related, too?" She asked, tilting her head. Maybe she was on his mother's side or something. Though she kinda imagined Kyo's mother having orange hair, like Kyo, and Tohru had far from orange hair.
Shade turned her gaze back to Kyo, the younger and smaller girl having to tilt her head up slightly to look him in the eyes.
((DX Mine was bad too.))

"No way," Kyo replied immediately. "She's not related to any of us. She needed a place to stay, though, and now this is her home," he told her. He couldn't imagine Tohru being related to them. That would mean more sadness than she's already faced. That girl did not deserve that. She'd lost her mom and her dad, one to sickness and one in a car accident... Kyo almost winced at the though. He had been there. He could have saved Kyoko. And... and then he'd found Tohru and he still wondered even now when Kyoko Honda would stop haunting him.

Shade nodded once. She wondered if something happened to her parents, but didn't pry any further. "I had seen her hanging out with you guys before, not that I really noticed or anything. I couldn't have guessed that she lived with you..." Shade said, for the sake of trying to keep the conversation going. She was a bit worried that he would ask about her own family, or even who see lived with. But if she was living in a house full of men, like Tohru, she'd likely go insane like the rest of her family and kill someone, or herself. Really depends on how mad she is at the moment. Heck, she might do both. Please note that that was a joke.
((Bleeeeh.))

"Yeah," Kyo said. "Honestly, I don't think she should be here. At least, not around Shigure," he said a little sourly. He really didn't like the perverted dog, though he didn't hate the man.
"So, who all do you live with?" he asked her.
((Let's kill our posts together. xD))

((XD Let's.))
Shade wondered if there was something wrong with Shigure, but didn't ask.
For a spilt second, Shade didn't answer. But she did after the pause. "I live with a lot of my family." She said. "My aunt on my mom's side, Takara, and her twins Kiyoshi and Kyoshi. And of course my mom. And my uncle from my dad's side lives with us." She said. "Sometimes we'll have more family members living with us temporarily, but those are the pretty permanent people." She said. "Sometimes it feels like I live in a bed and breakfast." She said with a slight laugh.
