take it back, please paint it black. She didn't do it on purpose this time, honest. Nina was sitting on her makeshift bed, a few cardboard boxes with a black flannel blanket coming them, throwing metal darts at a dartboard. Her black raggedy curtains covered the window, only slightly, letting the dark Monday morning sky in. In a few hours, the sun would come out and all of the happy singing couples with flowers would be skipping down Apricot drive, her street, dancing with the birds. She irked them. Honestly, she wished all of them would die. She obviously was not your average girl.
Nina threw darts at the board like each and every center was a person she despised. First, Paulina. Next, her school teachers. Then, all of the kids who made fun of her. Lastly. Her father.
She had nothing against her father, really, all what really bugged her is his poor taste in woman after her mother died. Nina also really hated how he decided to move his family into her inherited mansion ; the Apollo Mansion (Apollo is her mothers' maiden name). It also bugged her that he called her a 'damn hell-child' when she was young. But now, it didn't really affect her because she was called that every day.
Nina felt as if the only person who truly understood her, was her kid brother. Most people, would take that as an insult, but Nina on the other hand, took it as an opportunity. Jan was twelve. But, he knew what he was talking about. Nina would tell him all of her secrets, whether she was wanting blood, knives, or out of there; somehow, he'd talk her out of it. Jan had an IQ over 150, but, who's counting? He was a kid genius and was probably the smartest kid in the sixth grade. Nina would tell Jan her dreams, which he would marvel at. Sometimes, she'd dream of new places, new families, secret powers, or an escape.
She sat on her makeshift bed with a blade in her hand and was facing towards the window. "Hell-child! Get down here!" A woman's voice called. Nina was in her school uniform, but covered the shirt in blood, from an animal she didn't quite remember. She tucked the blade under her mini-skirt and secured it inside a leather garter. "Hell-child! Now!" "Coming, queen." She muttered under her breathe and walked out of the door.
"You really should wash your clothes." Paulina scolded her. "You should really wash off all of that cheap makeup." Nina said back. "Damned hell-child. You're going to hell! And you'll never see your mother again!" Paulina cursed. "Keep telling yourself that." Nina spit back, sarcastically and grabbed her red backpack and walked out of the mansions large doors.
The sun blinded her eyes. As she ran out of her house, she forgot her black trench coat. "Damn." She said under her breath and put on a pair of black sunglasses, her mothers favorite pair. Looking back at the mansion, she sighed. "Mother would've never wanted this." Nina spitted in the mansions direction and muttered, "Yeah, like you're going to heaven, witch."
Nina could hear a door close, and someone running, turning around, she saw that it was only Jan. "Hey, Nina! Wait up!" He yelled, his shoulder bag slightly sliding off his shoulder, with school assignments flying everywhere. "What do you want, Jan?" Nina said, emotionless. "Can you walk me to school?" He said, somewhat embarrassed. Nina blinked, "Sure, kiddo, what are sisters for?"
Nina walked along side with Jan. "So, why'd you want me to walk you to school?" She asked him, curious. "Paulina's gonna shoot me." Jan replied. Nina stopped walking and stared at him. "Go on." "And um, I thought if I walked with you, that you could scare her away, because you always have that knife under your skirt." Jan said, truthfully. Nina laughed for awhile. "Well, it's been on my to-do list to scare the hell out of her, but sorry kiddo, that's gonna have to wait awhile. Father already is mad at me, most of the time. He probably wants to know what's wrong. But, let's talk about something else, yes?"
Nina's suggestion didn't work out well, because the rest of the walk to the middle school was silent. As the school neared, Nina kissed Jan's forehead. "You'll be alright, Jan, I know it." She smiled at him, because there was nothing wrong with smiling, every once and a while.

[Mind if I reply? XD If you do I'll just delete this. o.-]
Though strange she was, she still attended school. Since her grandfather wished it, and even payed for the school, as written in his will, of course, once she was finished with school, and a legal adult, she could receive the rest of the things from him. He hadn't been a poor person, actually, he was a bit above. So once she was an adult, she could get into college with the money, and move out of the shelter she was currently residing in.
Walking to the building of the middle school, because she was born late she is still in middle school, though she's fifteen. Well, nearly. Not that it mattered to her, she was just there to get what little those mindless drones of teachers had to offer, before she was able to move on to the next bunch of them. Of course, she would still have to deal with the same morons known as her classmates. So many of them enjoyed picking on others, though they were no better themselves.
Hypocrites, everyone was one, or at least, had had a hypocritical moment. Even she.
Not being the type to trust the educational system she tended to bring sources of weaponry. Though today, she had been in a slight rush. Why? Well, she wasn't sure, she just had to get to school early. No specific reason, maybe she was just tired of the people at the shelter constantly catching her carving the table... But it did look better! That tables were just so bland, and she was bored. They had taken the knife away, which aggravated her. She had more though, so it wasn't a big deal.
Hey! Look at that, people... She allowed her gaze to sweep the area, in that protective way. As though expecting some unknown threat to jump out at her. So jumpy she was, though that was just her way. Being rather anti-social she chose not to approach the girl and the boy. Though she thought the girl looked rather familiar... Oh, yes, another student. Resisting the urge to tilt her head in curiosity, or just to do so, she continued. Messing with the hilt of the skirt she debated getting a longer one next time. The short ones were... Not really what she would like to be seen in. Actually, she would rather not be seen in any form of dress or skirt. They all were just... Bleh, to her.
She wondered if it would have been better to skip school today. Or if she still should for that matter. Maybe she should... Sneak back into the shelter, grab her sword, and go practice out in the woods. That was fun. Sounded a lot better then sitting in a classroom all day, listening to the droning of the teachers about things she either already knew or didn't care about. She could find Tobikomi too. Feed him, she hadn't seen him since the day before yesterday. Hopefully no one had picked him up... Then, upon rethinking this, she shook her head slightly, it would be a good thing if he had been picked up. He could then have a family. Yes.
[So many people on this site like to play with knives. 0.o XD Nina, Anthony, Dante... LoL. Anyway, if your up to it and it's a thing Nina would do... What if they both skipped school and happened to run into each other? Heheh... Up to you, sorry about this post though, I realize it's hard to work with... XP]

take it back, please paint it black. Instead of taking the usual route to school, Nina had an idea. She'd do something her father told her not to do. She took out the knife from her garter. Heck, no one was watching. There were only young kids. She needed a little blood in her system. Hey, a cat. This could be easier than she thought. "Here, kitty kitty." She whispered. The cats' ears slightly perked up, and the tortoiseshell started walking towards her. "That's it..." The cats green eyes looked at Nina, happily and purring. Nina stared at the cat and bent down to pet its' soft fur. "Let me see your paw." Nina said, picking up the cats paw. "Now don't worry, dear. This won't hurt a bit." Gently slicing the paw with the knife, Nina looked at the cat, who clearly was in pain. "Don't worry, you're alright." Nina said, licking the blood that slowly came out of the paw. The cat made a weird sound, but Nina didn't stop. "I need more." She muttered. She kissed the cats paw and bandaged it with a piece of loose cloth she ripped off from her shirt. Then. She ran.
Where she ran to, was a very familiar place. It was a forest. Near the cave. When the incident happened. But, Nina will just ignore that for now. "More. More..." She began chanting. Her eyes got bigger when she saw a deer. "Hello, deer." Nina said, slightly evilly. She crept up on the deer, slowly. The deer started running. So did Nina.
"Get back here, deer!" She chased. The deer was a fast runner, but not as fast as Nina. Then, Nina had an idea. She jumped. And luckily, landed on the deer. She lunged the knife into the deers torso, killing it. Nina slowly opened the cut with her hands and began her feast. Wait, what's that sound? "Hello?" She said, mouth full of stomach.

Well, she'd skipped. Considering she hadn't had a chance to change back at the shelter she was still wearing the god awful school clothes. Hopefully the didn't get too dirty as to raise suspicion from one of the ladies that watched the younger kids. Though she didn't like to consider herself a child, she was to them.
Despite the unfortunate clothing issue, she had gotten her sword out. It was a nice one. One she had managed to hide since she'd lost her grandfather. She was good at hiding things, small and large. Well, her sword wasn't too huge. But long it was. Moving on, she found a nice clearing to practice in. It wasn't too huge, but she could see the areas around her in case someone decided to pop up. Not too long after she'd cut a small part of the branch off a tree when she slipped in her form, she heard some odd noises. The shaking of the trees a little ways off. Her hands dropped to her side, the sword just above the ground as she held it at an angle so it wouldn't touch the ground.
She had a few choices. Follow the noise, stay her, return to school, or go back to the shelter and pretend to be sick. Some others that she wasn't thinking of just yet. Shrugging she followed, careful, stealthy. She'd sheathed her sword back at the clearing, but her hand hovered over it, in case of danger. Plus there was the knife she had slid in her sleeve, an odd but convenient place for a knife. And she had managed to strap it there in a way that did not effect her movement, or cause her discomfort. Though it was still easy to slid out of the sheath when necessary.
When she came upon the rather... Gory scene, she held her breath for a moment. Then tilted her head, she was hidden well in the foliage. But this was weird. It was like that one movie she'd watched a little while back. About the man feeding his daughter blood and such. It had been a really weird movie. Now it was like it was real. Marebito, and this girl was like a real F. At least she wasn't eating humans. And she didn't see a guy with a camera around. Maybe this was more like a werewolf thing. But they didn't exist. So what the hell was this girl?
"Marebito? There some hidden camera?" She questioned rather carefully when the girl had said hello. Anthony frowned. Wondering if she should reveal herself. Instead she crouched, avoiding anything that could cause noise to warn the girl of her placement.
[It's a real movie. LoL. And did you know the human body can consume two pints of blood before it automatically rejects it? Haha...]

take it back, please paint it black. Nina swallowed, looking around. Her brown eye color was slowly showing the resemblance of swirling red pools of death. She stood up immediately, dusting off her pleated skirt, it covered in blood. Nina quickly cleaned her knife with a leaf she ripped off of a nearby plant and stuck it back into her garter. She coughed, rather quietly, and heard a bush rumbling. She squinted her eyes to see something blue in a bush. "Peculiar..." Nina mumbled to herself. Slowly, and steadily, she walked to the bush. She looked down at it. Tilting her head to the left, and blinking with red eyes, she whispered, "boo." Blood dripped down from her bottom lip and Nina let it fall down her chin and leave a tiny splash on the grass below her.

Well, she was close enough. Anthony stood rather annoyed that she had decided to look into the thing. At least she had seen the knife go into the garter. So she knew what weapon the other had. She had her knife, which was hidden, and her sword, though visible it was longer, sharper, and more effective. But at least she wasn't queasy around blood. Else she would be... Well, screwed was the best word. What kind of person who knew about swords and such couldn't stand a little, or a lot of, blood?
She lowered her head slightly, examining the girl before her. This person was familiar. Then she remembered that she was from school. People were so weird. "Boo who?" Replied the girl, tilting her head as she looked at Nina. So strange, why would someone eat raw meat? Mental problems? But who didn't have those anymore? She put a hand over her hip that was next to her sword, so that she was ready for whatever happened. "Peculiar thing to do here." She stated.

take it back, please paint it black. She looked at them, licking her lips. Her blood red eye, the left, gave a slight twitch. "Not really." Nina licked her lips again. "I just needed some, what do you call it? Something to eat, for now." She coughed and hunched her back. "It's better than eating a child, yes?" Nina wasn't sure why she was opening up to this person, but she hadn't done something like this in awhile, especially with a stalker. "I'm Nina." She reached out her bloody hand, in approval.

take it back, please paint it black. "People eat sushi all the time, so why does it bug you if I eat raw meat?" Nina smiled, and tilted her head again. She loved being clever, and loved especially outsmarting others with her brain. "Anyways, why are you in the forest criticizing on my eating habits when you should be in school, like a good little girl?"

Anthony was finding it rather annoying being treated as an imbecile. "Well to get sushi I tend not to go and fish then eat the fish then and there." She replied with a slight frown. Though she felt like taking a swift look around, she decided it wasn't the best thing to do around a person who had just taken a dear down with a small knife. "Who said I was a good little girl anyway?" She added with a frown. That was just as annoying as being considered a boy. "I decided to come out practice." The girl gave her reason for being out.

take it back, please paint it black. Nina wiped the blood off from around her mouth with her sleeve. "I didn't necessarily call you a good girl." She said, merely reading her mind. "I meant that most of them are in school, like my little brother Jan." It felt weird to mention Jan's name. Nina didn't regularly talk about Jan. He was a bit too shy to mention in conversations, plus, he didn't like being talked about.
