Zen and Yui were siting on the streets. Zen was holding a sign that read "will work for food." Yui was playing with a stray puppy. She laughed and giggled when the puppy jumped and barked. Zen looked over and smiled at her.
Some of the people at walked by rudely yelled at Zen to get a job. Some gave him change, which Yui thanked them for him. And others just walked by, not saying anything.

Hatsuharu was outside. It was simple as that. He'd gotten extremely irritated, and needed to leave the Main House for a bit. He'd calmed down soon after he was out in the fresh air, and had started wandering Tokyo's streets, straying away from where all the stores were, to the place with less tourist attractions.
By now, he'd been outside for a couple hours at the least. He wasn't cold though, wearing his white and black coat and his red and white gloves. And under that, his usual darkly colored clothing. You could easily see his piercings, and he wished it was warmer so he could have warn a short-sleeved red shirt that showed his tattoo.
The white-and-black-haired boy finally got tired of walking, and sat down on the curb beside the two. He didn't even look at them at first. Then he glanced over. His stormy gaze was flat, and the rest of his expression matched. "Yo," he said plainly in a monotone.

Zen looked over, but didn't say anything. Yui walked over and placed her hand on his shoulder," he says hi." She smiled brightly in heer little kid way. "His name is Zen, and my name is Yui. Nice to meet you mister." She giggled.

Hatsuharu smirked. He did an awkward-looking bow, considering he was sitting down, and not facing them.
"Nice to meet you, Zen, Yui. I'm Hatsuharu," he told the two. The smirk disappeared, and his expression was flat again. He peered over at the sign Zen held.
"Outta work, huh? I don't need to worry about that right now. I'm only in high school." Then again, he thought. I doubt I'll ever have that problem, with Akito always filling our bank accounts. I wonder where he gets all that money. Probably from the Sohma business owners...

Zen shook his head. Yui replied," he never had a job. He lived on the streets since he was five. I ran away from a orphanage." Yui messed with her hair. Zen looked at the girl, and smiled. He was glad he met her. Onre she was his only friend, though she could be too much of a kid at times. And two, she can talk for him. Yui looked up at him and giggled like a little kid, which she was.

Hatsuharu nodded. "That really sucks. I'd offer you a house on the estate, but it's not really my decision to make," he commented. "I don't think the head of my family would take very kindly to two strangers he's never met before living on the "Inside" or the "Outside"."
He ran his fingers through his hair and actually laid back on the cement.

"Huh? Who are you mister," Yui asked, tilting her head slightly. Zen looked at the high school boy, with a face that showed that he was wondering as well.
((Sorry, short post))

"Hatsuharu Sohma," Haru said. "Told you that already, though. Anyway, I'd help you out, but I guess the most I could offer you is having you over for a little while. No work or anything. I'll get you food, though," he offered.

Zens face brightened up. So did Yuis," really!? Oh thankyou thankyou!!" Yui almost hugged him, but Zen stopped her. Zen stood up, then crouched down, so that Yui coulld hop up on his shoulders. She did, and Zen stood up. "Weeee," Yui said as Zen stood up. Zen smiled at her, like a father would his child. "Where to mister?"

Hatsuharu laughed quietly. "Come on, just follow me," he said.
After a while, he glanced up at Zen. "So, why doesn't he talk?" he asked. "If you don't mind my asking."

Zen looked at him, but Yui answered for him," he's mute. But I can talk for him. It's wierd. But it's cool." Yui giggled. Zen bucked a bit, playing with Yui, which Yui giggled in reply.

"Hey, that's pretty cool," Hatsuharu said, smiling. "One time one of my friends stopped talking. He didn't go mute, but he wouldn't talk to anybody. He'd just sit there. It was sad. And the worst part was that nobody ever knew what he was thinking during that time. I wish I would have had as strong a conection to him as you do with Zen," he commented.

Yui smiled," but it was wierd. When we met, I had the connection then. It was wierd at first, but I got used to it."

"Cool," Yui laughed. Zen thought something, then yui talked for him," Zen says he heard your last name before. What do the Somhas' do?" She obviously didn't hear the name correctly. Zen smiled, as if in laughter.
((=shrugs=))
